The company’s turbocharged twin engine aircraft is piloted by a diesel mechanic and is available to haul parts for servicing up to a 1,000 nautical mile range. Owner, Dave Gillen Sr. stated “This is a service we have been offering our customers and they found it had great value when being stranded on an island wasn’t in their plans. We have provided emergency engine and generator repairs and even hauled and installed a set of props for a 120 ft. yacht that was en route to pick up a valuable charter customer."
Gillen Diesel & Marine Services is a full service yacht repair, maintenance and refit facility with headquarter office and service center located at Harbour Towne in Dania, FL and a second service center at Lauderdale Marine Center. The company has been servicing vessels from 30 to 160 ft for sixteen years.
