1999 Monte Fino 83' MY/ ABSOLUTELEE
Customer purchased vessel that contained a lengthy list of post purchase repairs and needed upgrades. The vessels teak decks were in severe disrepair and a leak in the pilot house had resulted in a significant amount of damage. The vessels original mechanical systems,engines, generators and electronics were in need of servicing and / or updating. The following is a partial list of the services performed as part of this major refit: -Replace all AC systems -Repair severly damaged hull and topside gelcoat -Repair and paint bottom -Repair underwater lights -Recondition rudders, overhaul steering gear and rudder stuffing boxes -Prop speed propellers -Remove and replace Spurs -Remove and relaminate unused thru hull fittings -Remove and replace deck lights -Remove teak decks, repair badly damaged fiberglass below old teak decks, install new teak decks -Repair rotted hatches and doors -Repair swim platform with fabricated fiberglass tubing to support stanchion rails -Remover all engine room equipment and reconfigure space including fabrication and installation of new aluminum deck plates -Extensive work to main engines -Extensive work to generators -Remove and replace Fresh water, toilet and bilge pumps -Install new watermaker -Replace fuel, hydraulic and water lines -Replace all blowers -Overhaul steering -Replace all batteries with AGM -Made significant changes to AC and DC electrical systems -Replaced AC/DC power inverter -Remove and Replace all helm electronics with NMEA 2000 backbone -Install all new AV system -Replace all interior lighting with LED -Fabricate mast and rig -Repair and replace rotten bridge flooring -Repair various refrigerators and icemakers -Service Windlass bow and stern -fabricate fiberglass cabinet and install outdoor grill

The aft decks were particularly in rough shape, the boat had been hit at the platform several times, cleats were not secure, bases for removable aft rails were rotten and badly damaged, hatch cores were saturated with water and an old fiberglass repair from a former fuel tank removal had failed. The entire space under the deck was badly molded, and the equipment was damaged from leaking water and condensation.

Old electronics, analog instrumentation, and other original equipment was removed, cutouts filled and lower helm re-laminated. New Garmin MFDs installed to display XM weather and audio, radar, sonar, moving map w/GPS and video feeds from 4 new cameras. Maretron DSM 250 display added for viewing NMEA 2000 data including Airmar 200WX weather data, domestic water pressure, toilet system pressures, freezer temps, plus other system monitoring. In addition, new antennas, nav lights, trim tab controls, new windlass controls, etc., were installed.
